Edna-Belle (Sweet) Shelby Has Passed
(posted 12/31/2025) -- Edna is the daughter of Harold and Doris (Hurt) Sweet. At her passing she was the oldest living grandchild of Tell and Pearl (Wood) Hurt. She was 96. Her son Ron Shelby forwarded an obituary which I've linked to here.
I remember many family gatherings in Covington, IN with the Sweets and Shelbys -- all good memories that I cherish. I dug out an old unedited 8mm film of a Thanksgiving in 1958 (I believe). Harold, Doris, my mom, Edna-Belle, Ron, Beth, and Kathy are all there -- seems just a short time ago! Here's the movie link.
