Attended Hurt 2011 Hurt Reunion
(Posted 9/6/2011) - I enjoyed the Hurt Reunion held at Ron and Sherry Hildebrand's home in Kankakee last Sunday. It was a wonderful day to be outside, with clear skies and 70's temps. The view of the Kankakee River was beautiful.
My brother Phil was unable to attend due to last minute problems with his wife's pain med prescription over the Labor Day weekend, which kept him from flying in to Chicago for the reunion.
Ron and Sherry were married just days before the reunion (August 28th) - congratulations and my best wishes for a long happy marriage. It is amazing that they still managed to provide such a wonderful setting for the reunion.
I enjoyed talking with everyone -- you made it a very special day for me. Thanks!
